Rolling bearings are widely used in various fields of industry, the superior performance of the bearings will improve the service performance of mechanical device. In the field of bearing production, the most important working procedure is carried out on the needle size measuring and sorting according to different test results, the sorting accuracy will affect the service life of bearing and performance. As a result, improve the separation accuracy and efficiency of roller is of great significance to improve the level of bearing manufacturing.In the field of traditional roller testing sorting, using the method of the indicator of artificial detection for the longest time. With the increase of the cost of materials and artificial, traditional detection methods have been difficult to meet the needs of modern production. Automatic sorting machine instead of manual sorting methods has become major manufacturers and research institutions of the main research directions, The detection accuracy and separation efficiency have improved significantly, which can meet the production requirements of most bearing manufacturers.Non-contact cylindrical roller diameter automatic sorting machine is from roller manufacturers, this topic is in ensuring the accuracy in the premise of roller within20μm which will be automatic grouping according to the grades of diameter size. The sorting machine is used non-contact measurement, and used high precision laser sensor as detecting device, used the PLC controller as the core control system components, which can reduce the complexity of the mechanical structure, and simplify the control process, enable the device to achieve precise, fast sorting purposes.In terms of mechanical design, the device is used the modular design method, respectively design parameters of the feeding mechanism, conveying mechanism, testing mechanism, sorting mechanism of automatic sorting machine, uses the linear reciprocating feeding method combined with feed cylinder with v-shaped block to achieve continuous feeding roller; uses the stepper motor driven sorting device action, which to achieve the high speed blanking and grouping.This paper describes the monitoring and control system to control the flow, and write the control program, according to the system function analysis and choose the appropriate measurement and control components, use the laser sensor and controller for signal data acquisition, the PLC control unit for signal processing and send out the action instruction for each actuator, so that the whole system is coordinated action.Analysis the measurement error in the process of the detection, find out the influence factors of test results, and put forward to avoid and reduce the error scheme. Finally, the finite element analysis is carried out on the feeding device, determine the relationship between the work efficiency and the feeding rate.According to the above scheme of the non-contact automatic sorting machine cylindrical roller diameter can detect5~10mm diameter,10~30mm length rollers, sorting efficiency is160~220/min, realize the rapid and accurate detection and separation purposes, to meet customer’s demand.
