Ceramic products are more frangible and heavy,which are vulnerable to beaffected by the vibration and shock during transport and thus lose its use value. Sotransport packaging design plays an extremely important role in the final quality ofthe ceramics. At present,domestic ceramic tile automatic packaging technology isstill immature. The automatic packaging production line of ceramic tile is designedunder the background of labor-based packaging. Ceramic tile corner device is thekey part of the automatic ceramic tile packaging line.Firstly, the design schemes on automatic packaging corner device of ceramictile (size300X450X9.8mm/piece,10pieces/group) were designed and evaluatedthough extension theory in this paper. This article used matter-element andcorrelative function to express the scheme design, utilized rhombus thought modelof the extension thinking to express the further levels of knowledge in the designprocess. and thus a variety of design schemes was obtained. After the convergenceof thinking, which had been realized by making use of the true or false matterelement information discrimination method and optimal degree evaluation method,the optimal design scheme was obtained.Secondly, according to the optimal scheme,conveyor assembly,lifting up the tilesassembly,aligning and clamping assembly,unpowered rectangular silo,absorbingand releasing corners assembly were desinged.Finally,the prototype of packaging corner device of ceramic tile wasdeveloped.This device with character of rectangular silo and swinging blockmechanism can put corners effectively.Tests of prototype verify that the device hasthe advantages of simple structure, reliable performance and meets the designrequirements.
