Flight Simulator is one of the important applications of flight simulation system, whichis an emerging product of the flight application. It is an important and effective flightscientific testing means for the beginning pilot to understand and improve. Helicopter FlightSimulation System is aimed at the movement of the helicopter for its study, which is acomplex aerodynamic and flight control simulation system. It includes the scene, flightdynamics calculations and manipulate control module. Among them, the flight dynamicscalculation of the example helicopter is the main content of this paper, and it also is the corecontent of the flight simulator study. And its accuracy and solving of the mathematical modelswill directly affect the fidelity, real-time and maneuverability of the flight simulator.In this paper, the study is aimed at a example helicopter, with a single main rotor and atail rotor, to explore and realize its dynamics calculations in Flight Simulation System. Thepilot achieves the helicopter flight controls by controlling the size and direction of the rotorthrust. Thus, the rotor flight dynamics modeling and its solving has become the core of theexample helicopter flight dynamics calculations. The main rotor model completes steeringcontrol, aerodynamic performance and dynamic properties of the solver, provides real-timerotorcraft flight mechanics data, and communicates with other modules to complete real-timecontrol functions and solving of the entire system. In addition to building and solving rotordynamics modeling, the paper also establishes the appropriate mathematical model of tail,fuselage, horizontal tail and vertical tail modules of the example helicopter. Thus,creatingequations of motion of the instance helicopter achieves solving of movement of the examplehelicopter in flight simulation system.In this paper, the helicopter flight dynamics calculation in the flight simulator prototypesystem, experienced vector analysis, example helicopter module division, select each modulemodeling and analysis algorithm, and the final component of the completion of the algorithmimplementation. After completing the modularity of the aerodynamic models of the example helicopter, this paper use interface technology of the component-based, object-oriented orcomponent, to improve and correct the simulation aerodynamic model without affecting theoperation of the entire system.
