There is plenty of wind energy in china, With the increasingly exhausted of the traditional energy, wind power industry obtained a rapid development, so our country urgently need to improve our wind power equipment design and manufacturing level.At present, there are big gaps between china and developed countries in wind turbine’s theory and application research, this leads to a result that key parts of big WTGS’s design and production need to be used foreign technology. So, in-depth research of kinematics and dynamics characteristic of wind turbine has important theoretical significance and engineering application value when we realize the wind generator localization.Virtual prototype technology is applied to the simulation of kinematics and dynamics characteristic of wind turbine. Some research is done on aerodynamics and key component’s3d modeling and kinematics and dynamics simulation and finite element analysis of blade and tower. Main contents are as follows:(1) Some research is done on aerodynamics theory of blade. Three basic aerodynamic theory are introduced, the three aerodynamic theory are bates theory and vortex theory and blade element momentum theory. The blade element momentum theory is applied to calculate aerodynamic load, and detailed calculation method and steps is gived. Aerodynamic loads are calculated in Matlab with different wind speed from5m/s to25m/s.(2) Blade is precisely modeled in3d software SOLIDWORKS through choosing blade technical parameters and adopting NACA series airfoil. The structures of other parts such as hub and nacelle and tower are simplified. All the components are assembled in assembly environment. Then the3d model of the wind turbine is created.(3) The multi-body dynamic model of the wind turbine’s key components is created in Adams. Through simulation of the model under constant rotate speed, kinematics and dynamics curves are got when the wind speed rise from5m/s to25m/s. another group of curves are got through simulation when the nacelle yaw. The difference between the two groups of curves can be got when take the influence of gyroscopic moment into consideration.(4) The statics analysis and modal analysis of blade and tower are done in finite element software Ansys. Then the displacement contour and stress contour and strain contour under extreme wind speed are got, the first eight natural frequencies and vibration model figure of blade and tower are also got under free vibration.
