With the national "energy saving" task proposed, the energy consumption gets more and more national attention. When the yard system is at work, some factors may affect the energy consumption, such as layout of the yard, reclaimer track of the stacker, mechanical loss of the belt conveyor and efficiency of the drive system. For the influence of different factors, the energy-saving optimization of the yard conveyor system is discussed.The yard layout should follow the principles of overall arrangement, rational distribution, combined with distance and so on. The parameters of the stacker are used and the corresponding relationship between the yard height, width and length with the cantilever pitch height, turning radius and stroke of the stacker are given. This provides the yard layout a reference.According to analysis of bucker wheel movement regularity of boom type bucket stacker reclaimer, the formula of the bucket digging side is derived, and this provides basis to achieve the shortest length of bucket cutting edge which can expense mining of least resistance. The relationship between the ratio of length to width of the bucket wheel with the ratio of cantilever initial velocity and bucket cart forward rotation distance is decided. Also a new way of reclaiming cycle is given. This can improve the average reclaiming capacity for the existing bucket stacker reclaimer, and reduce bucket digging resistance and bucket-wheel drive power for the new product still in design.During the calculation of the operation resistance for the belt conveyor, the simulated resistance coefficients are different based on the calculation method of German standard. The calculation method of CEMA6is introduced. According to the method of CEMA6, the simulated resistance coefficient does not need to consider during calculation of the main resistance for the belt conveyor, and by calculating the belt tension, adding all the tension of the main components of the resistance calculated to obtain. Through analysis of a specific example, with the feature quantity "energy consumption rate", the changes in energy consumption under different belt speeds are given, and the matching relation between the conveyor traffic with the belt speed is pointed out. In connection with the changes of conveyor load, the power loss of the synchronous motor is analyzed at first according to the three-phase asynchronous motor model and equivalent circuit. The process of the motor power consumption is obtained. Then, the relationship between the power consumption and the stator voltage is discussed, and the conclusion that it is feasible to regulate the voltage to receive energy conservation is obtained. The appropriate amount of control is selected and the two-way thyristors are used to achieve regulation voltage operation. The drive system is simulated by Simulink, so the cures of the motor stator voltage, stator current, speed and power are observed visual. The motor power factor and efficiency are improved during regulation voltage operation, and the theoretical analysis is verified.
