Research And Development On Control System Of Automatic Warehouse For Disks Attached With Books

The current book sales industry usually apply artificial storage and management approach to the compact disks attached with books, in which way the deposit efficiency and the informatization level is not high. It’s emergent to change the depositing disorder and inefficient information search status for book sellers since more and more disks attached with books are released.The automatic warehouse for disks attached with books is a new warehouse developed on the basis of AS/RS. It could take the advantage of high efficiency deposit and highly information management to satisfy the demand of centralized management, and promote the information level of the current book sales industry at the mean time.The research on several aspects of the automatic warehouse for disks attached with books has chiefly been carried on in the thesis as follows:(1) Analyzed the designing demand and working flow of the warehouse. Then we explained the overall structure of the control system including hardware and software on the basis of warehouse’s mechanical structure.(2) Conducted the research storage optimization. Withdrew practice means for storage optimization on the foundation of analyzed manipulator’s running velocity curve, including depositing rule, access sequence and manipulator’s position waiting for orders. Then we carried thorough study on the storage space optimization question.(3) Studied the transmit way of the disks’ storage and retrieval information. Explained how the information transmitted among barcode scanner, PC, PLC and manipulator. Develop disks management database and realized informatization management by Access.(4) After analyzed hardware system, carried on the design of hardware and software control system. Chose the electrical machinery and PLC, assigned each I/O connection of PLC and established the PLC control procedure. Focus on the study of the manipulator’s horizontal running.(5) Designed the disks’monitoring configuration system by Century Star. Monitored the configuration system and control movement of the storage&retrieval manipulator by sending out the deposit command, realized the animation function simultaneously. Developed history curve of the disks’number and designed alarm window, also established the data connection between monitoring configuration system and database.It could raise the deposit efficiency and promote information level of the current book sales industry obviously by the usage of automatic warehouse for disks attached with books.
