An earth leakage circuit breaker, also known as residual current device (RCCB),is an effective means to ensure the safety operation of power grid prevent leakage caused by electrical fire, to protect the personal and equipments’safety. A-type leakage protector includes AC leakage protector features, while remaining sensitive to pulsating DC leakage current, it is more suitability,more reliability and more secure,so to promote A-type leakage protector is imperative.All round the country, the foreign discrete devices control program dominated the domestic A-type leakage proctector market, due to the significant differences in standards and design program of our country, it is not particularly suitable for the situation in China power Grid and affected the actual leakage protection and promotion of the use of operation rate. For these reasons, the research team developed "ZDAB" A-TYPE RCCB chip with strong anti-interference ability, high integration and independent intellectual property rights to replace the product of foreign manufacturers.After three times chips’tape out, it is implemented by CSMC0.5um Mixed CMOS standard process finally. The test result basically meets the pre-design specifications and is compatible with the form of national standard. What’s more, ZDAB chip also has passed the relevant EMC test, which lays a solid foundation for the chip’s industrialization.
