Research On Construction Quality Control Index Of Maintenance Engineering Asphalt Pavement

The construction of highway in China is in rapid development period, with the increase of highway mileage and service time, the engineering work of highway maintenance is more and more. A period expected in the future, construction of our country’s highway will turn to the construction and maintenance, and gradually turn to the maintenance based. The maintenance of asphalt pavement and base is an important content. Many Anhui’s highway have been the rapid increase and overloading traffic vehicles. With the extension of service pavement damage increased. These factors make the road maintenance difficult, it also brings up higher requirements to highway maintenance.Relying on the He-an and He-xu highway maintenance works,the paper go deep into study on the quality control and management of the asphalt pavement from the characteristics of the asphalt pavement construction. The issue is discussed from four aspects:the quality control of pavement milling operation; production quality control of asphalt mixture (the large-stone asphalt);the quality control of road (degree of compaction, roughness, deflection etc); the asphalt pavement performance on maintenance engineering. This paper based on field investigation outdoor test and indoor test, focuses on the quality of the pavement milling, compaction techniques, the surface uniformity, jointing construction and has come to the following results: Firstly, proposed control index on pavement milling and asphalt pavement of paving; Secondly, proposed construction quality detection and control index,such as milling size, roughness requirement, the large-stone asphalt mixes testing technical indicators, the acceptance of each layer’s deflection, the roughness of longitudinal joint, water permeability coefficient, etc; Thirdly, the paper puts forward an asphalt mixture index of shearing strength,based on the characteristics of the maintenance structure cracks and the crack resistance requirements of flexible base and surface. The research result has laid a solid foundation for the preparation of Anhui province Asphalt maintenance pavement construction and acceptance for highway engineering.
