Based on vane-stator pair of BERARMA PHV05type high pressure variable vanepump as reaserch object in this paper.Aiming at the problem of how to reduce impactload and improve the lubrication performance between the friction pair of the vane andstator.By establishing the mathematical model of pump,research movement and pressuredistribution in vane chamber.And then analyzes mechanical characteristics on top ofvane in the transition zone. Explore the influence of vane shape,workingconditions,leakage as well as the flow structure parameters on the mechanicalcharacteristics of vane-stator pair.Through finite element analysis of stator ring,determined the reference position of EHL.Finally,the lubrication state and lubricationcharacteristics in pre unloading area were researched combined with the theory oflubrication. Structure optimization and tribological design of the pair were exploredpreliminary.Conclusions are as follows.(1) Obvious impact load of vane-stator pair occured in the transition region wherelubrication performance is poor.Arc blade can effectively improve this phenomenon,sothat is conducive to the formation of lubrication between pair.(2) The maximum equivalent stress, strain and contact pressure occurred in the end ofthe pre unloading zone. Thus the stator is prone to collapse in this position.Referenceposition of lubrication analysis can be further determined with motion analysis results.(3) When chamfer vane worked in the pre unloading zone, friction and poorlubrication performance occured near the end of pre unloading zone.And in a certainrange of rotation speed and pressure, this phenomenon is more obvious with higherpressure or lower speed.(4) Lubrication becomes better with increase of the top radius in a certain range whenarc vane worked in the pre unloading zone.When the tip radius is10mm with tribologydesign of vane, the friction in the pre unloading zone can avoid severe wear of dryfriction.Especially when lower pressure or higher speed, friction pair is almost full filmlubrication.This is in favor of working life and reliability improvement. Research workprovides a theoretical basis for the research and design of vane pump.
