The pipe system is one of the most important structures for central air-conditioning.The fatigue reliability is directly related to the normal running of centralair-conditioning. The central air-conditioning has many piping systems and sources ofexcitation which are different from the air-conditioning with single piping system andexcitation. So, reducing the virbration of central air-conditioning piping system isdifficult. The pipeline is spatial structure. There is no unified structure design standardto verify structure reliability. Designer often use the method of blindly increasing thelength and thickness of pipeline to ensure the structure reliability. Consequently, it isresult in high cost of product. With development of the CAE analysis techniques,engineer can analyze and verify the design solution with applying the techniquesefficiently. But the operation and parameter setup of CAE software are complicated anddirectly tranlated CAD model into CAE model are invalidated. It is restricte the widenapplication of the technique in design process of central air-conditioning pipe system.The CAD/CAE integrated analysis software for central air-conditioning is urgentneeded for manufacturing companies. The integrated software with input of CAD modelof pipe systems and output the analysis results. The whole analysis processing isautomation to verify the reliability of the design solution quickly.Based on C++technology, develop the CAD/CAE integrated analysis software ofpipe system of central air-conditioning. The integrated system is consists of three mainmodules: data extraction software, dynamic analysis module and integrated module.Main research contents of data extraction module are given as follow: analyze thestructure of pipe system and the exciation source from compressor. Then establish theparametric model of detail components of central air-conditioning pipe system. Basedon secondary development of UG to extract parametric data from the model of pipesystem, store data and realize the custom data exchange. Dynamic analysis moduleworks at reconstructing the model of the pipe system in ANSYS software and carryingout several types of dynamic analysis, such as modal analysis, harmonic responseanalysis. The integrated module controls and monitors the run state of UG and ANSYSsoftware, manage the additioner database and graphical user interface and reportanalysis results with the Word format.The CAD/CAE integrated system can be applied to verify the reliability of designsolution efficiently. It can make full use of the strong analysis ability of ANSYS and removing the tedious operation steps of ANSYS that can increase the new type ofcentral air-conditioning piping systems development efficiency.
