| Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics (CFRP) is composed by two or more kinds of different substances in different ways, and has enhanced stiffness, strength, high damping, excellent designable, fatigue resistance and other excellent comprehensive performances. It is widely used in aerospace structural design. The application of composite materials proportion has become one of the important indicators of the aerospace sophistication. CFRP cylinder is a thin-walled component with large diameter, it needs to process cross holes on the composite cylinder end and assemble with other artifacts in aerospace applications. This paper, in view of the large diameter composite cylinder, has developed a set of drilling equipment with accurate orientation, expansion uniform and high degree of automation.This paper introduces the research background, significance and necessity of the subject. Subsequently, it comprehensively compares and analyzes the current technology and equipment of the domestic and abroad about the drill of composite material. On this basis, the main work of this paper has been summarized. The main research including.Firstly, the paper analyzes the system of large diameter composite cylinder hole processing conditions and difficulties in the process of machining. For the question of cross hole position accuracy after processing, the neutral question of each cross hole on circumferential distribution to composite cylinder axis and the angle error of each cross hole on the circumference distribution, etc. The overall design scheme uses double rocker bit and Angle encoder. The machine can be divided into three parts:the rocker bit drilling, the bed and lathe bed feed section and compound cylinder support section. Three parts complete the process of the hole according to the designed process scheme.Secondly, according to the overall scheme and take Pro/Engineer software to design each part structural of the lathe. The key components of the machine were investigated by Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS/Workbench to guarantee the reliability of the design. The corresponding structure optimization is carried out for the structure.Finally, a set of drilling equipment for large diameter composite circular end frame has been designed. |
