At present there are toughly two types of car dumper unloading system arrangement in china:Turnback and drive-through.turnback arrangement mostly used in the steel mills,power plants,ports and other highly efficient automatic car dumper unloading systems,can save vast factory land and reduce the land cost.Howerver,since this type of arrangement requires "unhooking" operations,gondola car dumper unloading system which are not unhooking dedicated can only use the drive-through type.Firstly,this paper introduces the overall design of the electrical system,explaining the power supply and testing components based on its special process.Compared with the conventional car dumper system,the six car traverser dumper system has two more equipments,that is six car traverser platform and terminal station car puller,leading to design input conditions increasing,requiring redesign of PLC systems,and accounting rack number,power supply module,IO module and so on.Each of the12motors of the six car traverse platform needs a real-time distance detection encoder,so compared to the conventional car dumper system,there are12more sets of encoder system network.Then which kind of network can make the PLC quickly receive encoder data effectively is a problem of the design need to be analyzed.In addition,as six car traverse platform devices are slender and non steel linked driven by12motors,how to make12motors synchronization is the key point of this study.This study,based on the theoretical basis of variable frequency vector control,compared three inverter control plans,analyzed their functions and applicable occasions,and adopted the belt speed sensor vector control inverter closed-loop variable frequency speed regulation system of asynchronous motor.As an example,the network plan and synchronization of AB’s products are studied and the electrical component configurations are designed.When completed commissioning,the curves of other plans,equipment operation is more stable,and low speed startup torque is big,so the equipment can transit smoothly when the speed running from low to high.Take encoder is the speed sensor for the closed-loop control,we can detect real-time figures of the speed and the torque of either motors and make adjustments to prevent irreparable accidents of non steel link equipment distortion and derailment.
