According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s urban-rural income gap since2002has more than3:1, showing a rising trend. And the social environment problem behind GDP, per capita income data is more complex and more shocking:in the city a large number of migrant workers living environment is harsh, and heir children are difficult to receive the same education with the urban children."Arrival cities "are all around in seemingly prosperous district" Although the integration of urban and rural is the practical basis points in China, we have little progress. This real confused brings us back to the theoretical prototype thinking. It seems that the basic theory of the existing urban-rural relations is not sufficient to support the guidance of practical problems. Compared with direct experience in theory, the basic theory of the relationship between urban and rural areas contribute to the judgment and discretion in practice-to determine what to do, thinking about how to make the best. Sometimes when paces are too fast, we need to stop and think, so as to go better.Nowadays, research of urban-rural relations is as follows in China:foreign urban planning theory, evolution of China’s urban-rural relations, development goals of urban-rural relations and the way to achieve it. Specific evolution of China’s urban-rural relations comes mainly from economics, geography, history, philosophy, political science and other related disciplines, with a focus on the period after the founding of New China. As we seen, the basic theoretical research on China’s urban-rural relations had been developed, but its still insufficient compared to the practice guidance demand. This study is trying to interpret theories of urban-rural relations from multiple disciplines (economics, sociology and geography) works combing. Select from the original writings of the related disciplines to interpret rather than directly from the planning disciplines existing research. It can not only help us to understand China’s urban-rural relations (theory and reality, past, present and future) with multi-angle, but also contribute to theoretical study of the existing urban-rural relations, some additions or corrections. The first chapter provides a brief introduction to the causes of the research questions, research objectives, research methods and difficulties, and proposed research framework. The second chapter related theoretical studies of urban-rural relations in China. It can be mainly summarized as the interpretation of the urban-rural relations theory, the development of China’s urban-rural relations evolve, the goal of China’s urban-rural relations and ways to achieve it. And concluding comments of the existing relationship between urban and rural areas of theoretical research framework and put forward the idea of the theoretical research on this basis. In the third chapter, it select "An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations" of Adam Smith,"Dual Economy Theory" of Arthur Lewis,"Surplus Agricultural Labor and the Development of a Dual Economy" of Jorgenson and other article related to urban-rural relations in economics interpretation of the theory. The urban-rural relation in economic theory is mainly focused on the development of the industrial sector, such as traditional economic era industrial, commercial and capitalist sector of the modern period. But there is a common basis of the discussion which are the agricultural surplus is the basis for the development of the city, and the expansion of urban economy will be constraints of the agricultural productivity. The fourth chapter is the interpretation of the urban-rural relations combing sociology. In this chapter, it summed up some kind of structural order and cultural genes in the urban-rural relations through the study of entire human development course. In order to do this, it selected "The City in History" of Mumford,"Peasant Life in China","Rural China","Chinese gentry","country rebuild","the road of urbanization " of Fei Xiaotong etc. And it extracted from these books that sociological interpretation of the entire period including the origin of human civilization era, China’s traditional social period and modern period. All of this could form a relatively complete understanding of the course. The fifth chapter is about geography. It found that geography is very suitable for traditional values as the basis of the theoretical study of urban-rural relations, namely the relationship between people and land, spatial analysis and regional studies from the book "Classic interpretation of geographical thought". At the same time, it introduces some instructive theories about urban-rural relations from other two books:"Spatial Economics","Oxford Economic Geography".The main thrust of this research is to improve the basic theoretical research of China’s urban-rural relations though interpretation of the relevant disciplines theory. And to look at how these theories can explain the urban-rural relations from comprehensive perspective. The final chapter is a summary to these theories of urban-rural relations prototype from multi-disciplinary perspectives. It put forward some conclusions with reference value to China’s urban-rural relations in basic theoretical research from two different aspects which are urban-rural relations and related theoretical study. And it also raises a number of shortcomings and regrets to provide some ideas and prospects for future research.
