With the advent of the ocean era, the countries of the world pay more and more attention to Marine scientific. Ocean velocity measurement has basic function in marine scientific research. Ocean current not only has the horizontal flow, but also has the vertical movement of the flow. But the ocean upwelling is so small, only one percent of horizontal flow or one over one thousand. This paper presents a new type of three-dimensional instantaneous current sensor of mersurable upwelling to acquire the three-dimensional current velocity with the enotmous difference if speed of each dimension and to perceive small current rate.The current sensor designed in this paper is mainly composed by two systems:The vertical velocity measurement system and the horizontal velocity measurement system. In horizontal velocity measurement system, due to the flow lift is so small, developed a differential vertical micro force measuring device based on flexible hinge. In vertical velocity measurement system, developde a ball-cross beam level force measuring device and established the mechanical model of flexible hinge and micro force measuring device, completed the mechanical analysis choose the sensitive element of the sensor.Secondly, calculate unilateral micro force amplifier magnification with the finite element method, compare it with theory of magnification. Improved design of the output to increase strain. By using the method of hanging weight block, broadly eliminate the effect of gravity on the measurement results. After the completion of the preliminary design, comprehensively optimize the device parameters, increases the response output. Finally, determined the processing method of sensor structure and assembly scheme, take water proof measures for strain gage and circuit, plan the experimental sensor calibration. The research contents of this paper can provide a throretical basis, technical support for ocean velocity and micro force measurement.
