Straw is a kind material whose heat preservation performance is very good, andis a kind of renewable resources every year. The materials are used in buildingmaterials field, and are researched on energy saving. Energy conservation andrecycling of new wall materials were studied, which has promote the rapiddevelopment of industrialization and building structure to save energy, reduced thesignificance of the environmental pollution. For straw concrete research, predecessorsmostly put straw compressed into the hollow concrete brick compressive to test.Based on the straw in the concrete adding fly ash and silica fume respectively, makingdifferent straw concrete block, the paper mainly studied the following contents:(1). Through the experimental research on the coefficient of thermal conductivityof straw concrete block, the study found that the block coefficient of thermalconductivity of different dosage of straw, under the condition of the same dosage offly ash, large dosage of straw block insulation performance is the better. Comparedwith the block without straw and fly ash, the heat preservation performance is greatlyimproved. The increase of dosage of silica fume on the heat preservation function ofthe test block has a tendency to weaken.(2). The straw stalk the compressive strength of concrete is studied throughexperiments. The study found that the increase of the dosage of fly ash reduced thecompressive strength of concrete block, under the condition of the same dosage of flyash. And the dosage of10%straw than2%straw content block compressive strengthis reduced by1/3. The increase of the dosage of silica fume can be within a certainrange to improve the compressive strength of concrete block. Mixed with fly ash andsilicon ash in the block, the increase of dosage of straw are reduced the compressivestrength of the block.(3) Calculation formula of coefficient of thermal conductivity of straw concreteis derived in this paper. The coefficient of thermal conductivity with fly ash andsilicon ash concrete value calculated by the formula are same with the test measured coefficient of thermal conductivity.(4). The finite element software simulated the straw concrete block heatconduction, through the calculation formula of all kinds of block coefficient ofthermal conductivity, the results can accord with the results of this paper deduced theformula of calculation, further verify the validity of the formula.
