| Along with the application of the railway security, heavy load, speed increase and high speed plan, the high friction coefficient brake shoe material has become an important part of railway locomotive and vehicle system, serving as a crucial factor in railway transportation security and coast. Taking the high friction coefficient brake shoe material as object and according to tribology theory and friction test, the brake shoe material’friction properties and wear mechanisms were researched at different conditions in this paper.This article focuses on the following aspects:(1) Three different formulations Composite Brake Shoe material with High-friction Coefficient was made by binder, reinforced material and packing. The friction and wear performance of three kinds of shoe materials were tested on the MG-2000type friction and wear testing machine. Results showed that when the materials of phenolic resin and nitrile rubber according to1:1blend, brake shoe material has the high friction coefficient and when phenolic resin with nitrile rubber by3:2blend, brake shoe material has the high wear resistance. The regular of the shoe material friction and wear performance changing with the rotational speed, temperature and load was obtained.(2) Under the help TPF-1microscope, SEM and Spectrum analyzer, the compositions、morphology and properties of friction surface layer were analyzed. In addition, this paper researched the brake shoe materials’friction properties and wears mechanisms were researched and the regular of the friction surface layer impacting on the materials’friction properties was obtained.(3) A friction model was built for brake shoe material and the wear process of the material is discussed.According to the friction and wear test, this article researched brake shoe materials’ friction properties and wears mechanism and provided an important theoretical guidance and practice standard about enhancing. |
