Foundation pit supporting design is a hot issue and hard problem in constructionsector today. Along with the development of the society and the ever increasing of thebuilding height, there is the need for very solid foundation, and the supporting is moredifficult. In Foundation pit designing, the biggest contradiction we have to deal withis the safety and economical-ness of the foundation pit. For the safety, we tend to beconservative in its designing, increase the cost, thus creating wastefulness; If we seekthe economical-ness only, our design may cause construction accidents and injuriesand casualties, thus creating even more waste, if the design is mainly based onexperience rather than reliable data from statistics. Therefore, thorough research onbetter design of the foundation pit project must be conducted continuously. This thesisis to conduct a better design of the supporting structure, with the foundation pitproject of Changchun Everbright Bank as an example.This thesis first analyses the research status of foundation pit projects at homeand abroad. This thesis analyses the regular forms of foundation pit supporting,optimize the categories and plans, and select the supporting forms of post supportingand the combination of slope digging and post supporting, according to the earthconditions, water conditions and the surrounding areas of the undergroundconstruction project of Changchun Everbright Bank. And then analyses appraise andcompare the solidity of the foundation pit supporting plan with Li Zheng Shenfoundation pit soft-ware. Two supporting forms can both be adopted and utilized. Butin order to save cost and shorten project time, finally, a combining form upper slopedigging+lower post supporting; Data simulation analysis is conducted with GTSlimited soft-ware, compared with real observation results, the selection of thesimulation data is within a reasonable area, and then concludes that the plan isfeasible. This project provides a practical basis and has great social values for thefoundation pit supporting design and implementation in our province. Optimization ofmore foundation pit supporting plans can guarantee safety, cost deduction andeconomical, thus finding a balance point between economy, technology andimplementation. At the same time, during the process of design, a combination ofcalculation by both human beings and soft-ware is used to show their respectiveadvantages, reaching the results of mutual proof and complementation, thus providinggood experiences for similar foundation pit supporting design.
