Describe the study background of flood optimal scheduling and thecurrent situation of China and abroad.For the flood control issues of Zhangzereservoir, investigated conventional scheduling methods and dynamicprogramming and particle swarm algorithm and improved particle swarmalgorithm based on nonlinear simplex method and The basic principle of thedual Lagrangian to achieve flood optimal scheduling of Zhangzereservoir.With the process of100year flood of Zhangze reservoir as anexample, respectively with conventional scheduling methods and three kindsof optimization scheduling method for flood regulating calculation, and carrieson the comparison.The calculation results show that the3kinds of optimization methods aresuperior to conventional scheduling methods, peak effect is obvious, thedischarge is more uniform. The improved particle swarm algorithm not only isbetter than the dynamic programming and the basic particle swarm algorithm,and overcome the dimension disaster problem dynamic programming methodand the convergence and easy to fall into local optimal solution of the basicparticle swarm algorithm, provides a new way for the problem of particleswarm optimization.Finally, according to the survey of Zhangze Reservoir Basin and thebasic data, According to the reservoir flood control requirements, research anddesign Zhangze Reservoir Flood Optimal Scheduling System use optimizationtheory, computer technology(Visual Basic6.0), database technology(Access2003). Provide a theoretical basis for the safe and economicoperation of the reservoir, and can be extended to general Reservoir FloodOptimal Scheduling.
