Nanning, the capital of Guangxi. It is humid subtropical monsoon climate, abundant rainfall, so the floods become more frequently. The flood control works taking flood control task of Nanning have the Baise Reservoir, the Laokou Reservoir and the Yongjiang River Levees. The Baise reservoir is mainly used for flood control, balancing power generation, irrigation, shipping and water supply; The Laokou Reservoir is mainly used for navigation, flood control, combined with the power, and creating conditions to improve the water environment of Nanning city, which are the second and the seventh rung of the Yujiang River. The standard of Nanning flood protection levees has reached once for50years. How to combine flood control works reasonably and give full play to the advantages regulation, will improve the flood control ability of Nanning and the urban development, and the safety of the downstream river, which is of great significance.This article briefly introduces the Baise Reservoir, Laokou Reservoir and Yongjiang River Levee firstly. According to the principle of the designed flood in combination with characteristics of Nanning basin flood, select "1968.8typical flood" as a flood of amplification. Combining the principles of flood control scheduling Baise Reservoir, Laokou Reservoir and the discharge capacity of Yongjiang river levees to establish optimal operation model of flood control, and use dynamic programming method to solve the model. Analysising on the flood scheduling of reservoir dyke united, to provide a certain significance reference for the actual operation of Baise Reservoir and Laokou Reservoir and a better effective protection for the construction and economic development of Nanning city.
