In order to promote the Yunnan airport route area of radio monitoring ability, this paper studies the TDOA location technology in many aspects. including algorithm analysis, compare the accuracy of algorithm, analysis the impact of the way of monitoring station position arrangement, number of stations, stations location these factors on the positioning accuracy. Finally using TDOA location technology proposed to upgrade scheme of radio monitoring in Yunnan airport route area. The detailed works are as follows:First, three commonly used TDOA algorithm, Fang, Chan and Taylor are derived. Obtained their performance characteristics and problems through simulation. Research and simulation analysis of cellular distribution TDOA system model, obtained performance. Then from the station number, cell radius, the noise, location of interference source and station these factors as relationship, establish the simulation model, the positioning accuracy of impact of these factors is analyzed.Secondly investigate and survey can be used to understanding the basic situation of the airports in Yunnan across-the-board, especially for Kunming Changshui Airport. Notably, we Collect and list the signal source to interfere Kunming Changshui Airport frequently, and the hidden trouble which may cause interference of communication of airports. As a result, studied and analyzed the causes of the interference and come forward with protective measures.At last, depending on the conclusion which is simulated by TDOA location technology, combined with the actual situation, choosing Taylor algorithm to present the upgrade plan for radio detection of the Yunnan existing air route. And taking Diqing Airport as an example, through the simulation to illustrate the feasibility of this project.
