By analyzing the law of development and vhange tendency of track irregularity on small radius curves located at Longhai Railway which is controlled by Lanzhou Railways Bureau, this thesis aims to study on genesis of small-radius curve track irregularity, and then propose track strengthening measures and maintenance of small radius curve. Besides, the comparative experiment and observation are carried on the typical Longhai small-radius curve, and the result shows track strengthening measures and maintenance of curve could improve the maintenance efficiency and the quality effectively, also could extend the maintenance cycle and service life of track.With dynamic and static analysis method, this study carried on the statistical analysis with the TQI characteristics of small radius curve and maintenance cycle, using track irregularities data measured by Track Geometry Inspection Vehicle(TG) and portable test instrument. Firstly, this study defines the data sources for data analysis, and then takes all the test data from TG which lay a good foundation for carrying out experimental study effectively. Secondly, this study uses statistical analysis to the rate of status change, and researches on the repair effect of different tamping machine operation modes by analyzing the change of TQI of small radius curve after traditional tamping machine accurate maintenance. Finally, this study puts forward suggestions about the model of repair and maintenance of small radius curve track.This thesis focuses on the characteristic of the rapid rate of track condition change, and selects 14 different radius curves in Longhai railway to carry out the comparative experiment of different strengthening measures. With the statistical analysis of track condition change, this study proposes the type of rail with small radius curve which is not only economy also in accordance with Longhai railway transport demand. That is to say, R-300 m curve uses U78 rail, and its service life can reach more than 30 months. Meanwhile, using rail grinding operation could reduce rail damage and rail corrugation effectively. Also, with the comparative experiment of different radius curves of rainforcement equipment, this thesis put forwards to the scheme of reinforced equipment of small radius curve from each view of reducing rail abrasion, track parts damage and enhancing the strength of track structure.
