Since 2002 to 2011, China’s share of world energy consumption first, is a big country of energy production and consumption. Due to the rapid development of urbanization, China’s building energy consumption accounts for 35% of world energy consumption of buildings. Therefore, the energy consumption of residential building energy efficiency is the most important issue to be resolved. Poyang Lake region due to climate change and economic development factors, leading to higher residential energy consumption of residential energy consumption in other parts of the country, so for the Poyang Lake Ecological Area residential buildings in summer and winter heating and cooling, passive energy-saving design strategy research, residential building energy consumption to reduce the area of Poyang Lake ecological Economic Zone for future ecological, social and economic development are of great significance.Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone is based on the eco-system, relying on Poyang Lake City Circle, to protect the ecological, economic development is an important strategic concept of SEZ. The idea of a national strategy aimed at the Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone into a global ecological civilization coordinated economic and social development and unity, ecological and economic demonstration zone between man and nature live in harmony and China’s low carbon economic development pilot area. In recent years, China’s rising living standards, to belong to the Poyang Lake Ecological Area in hot summer and cold winter weather, warm and cold in winter, hot in summer and cool in the region has become a people’s basic living needs. At present, thermal insulation properties of building envelope poor province with developed provinces, municipalities and a big gap between the living environment and improve the thermal comfort requirements have become increasingly prominent. Therefore, hot summer and cold winter Resolving Poyang Lake Ecological Area residential buildings imperative, but also an important topic of the current building ecological environment of the overall demand for energy efficiency and research.This paper is divided into five chapters to discuss the Poyang Lake area of residential buildings, passive energy-saving design issues: first describes the background and content, purpose and significance of the research; secondly introduces the concept of energy-efficient buildings and associated passive energy-saving design, and then to Lake Current energy consumption characteristics and residential area of geography and climate are introduced and analyzed; finally, the study area on the status of energy-saving residential building energy analysis of residential status quo, from the perspective of passive energy-saving design, combined with the study area geography and climate, proposed residential building plan architectural design strategies and specific measures and energy suitability monomer design; the end is the conclusion.
