Smart Grid of China is in a high-speed development stage, computer communication technology has become an important part of power grid construction, in order to promote the unification of power system information model and integrate seamlessly various applications, so the IEC 61970 Standard has been adopted as one of the core standards of Smart Grid, then widely be used in EMS of power grid dispatch automation system. With the Common Information Model(CIM) extend to all the object of power industry, all kinds of Intelligent Electronic Device(IED) and digital protection rely apply in power system, original CIM can’t express objects in power system accurately, therefore, hard to response association relationship between devices and collected power data by IED.Given the international CIM is gradually improved, according to advances about IEC 61970 CIM in International Electrotechnical Commission Technical Committee Working Group 13(IEC TC 57 WG13) research, this article puts forward an idea that use Enterprise Java Bean(EJB) technology and characteristics of Java language to establish persistence layer by annotating the domain model, which can solve “Impedance Mismatch” between the object model and relational model, simultaneously reduce the workload in building persistence framework. Decomposition and reconstruction on the original CIM XML format data file by studying difference in different stage of CIM, hence raising a hierarchical processing method make downward compatible transition to the new model to solve the problem that describe power data unclearly.Pay attention to the development of current IEC 61970 CIS, consider the complexity in using CORBA to realize heterogeneous, cross-platform service, and security is still not implemented in the ORBs, so using Slice as the standard define language of Ice middleware express data access function of component interface, provides a cross-platform C/S communication mode has nothing to do with programming language, at the same time separating the specific implementation of service based on the CIM persistence framework. In addition, not only easy to maintain, but it more secure, succinct, and flexible than middleware depend on CORBA.Finally, use a case about WLS state estimation of EMS advanced applications to show the role of power data, furthermore, take a chapter to summarize and prospect.
