In recent years, with the continuous develop of the national economy, individual users and companies’ demand for electricity is increasing year by year, and therefore, the comprehensive scale of power system is continuously expanding. In order to ensure the power system can be fast and stable developed, power grid planning decision makers at all stages need to work seriously and responsibly. After the specific implementation of a reasonable grid planning, national resources can be ensured not to be wasted. At the same time, sufficient power can be delivered more stable for different industries, and the healthy development of the national economy industries can be ensured, improving their economic and social benefits. Therefore, the importance of the power grid whether reasonable or not is obvious. However, current situation of power grid planning in China is not optimistic, especially after the reform of the economic system and the great change of the electric power system, some problems in the power system began to highlight. Such problems as weak grid structure, unreasonable distribution of energy resource in different areas, unsound of local policies and regulations security system for electricity, which highlight the issues of coordination between multi-level power grid planning. As the inevitable trend of development of the power system, coordination assessment still lack of effective means. It is necessary for building a evaluation system of grid coordination.From three aspects of reliability, safety and economy, the concepts of gray correlation and statistics is introduced in this paper. In the paper, an evaluation system of multi-level coordination comprehensive considering generation, transmission and distribution is built through reliability analysis, validity analysis and sensitivity analysis. The evaluation indexes is determined. A planning scheme of an area in Jiangxi is used for evaluation in the paper. The result shows the effectiveness and practicality of the evaluation system in the paper for coordination evaluation in the power grid.
