The Research Of Application On Complex Projects Based On BIM Technology

With the advent of the global information technology, China’s major industries have entered the information process. However, the construction industry has relatively lagged behind other industries, such as: the manufacturing industry,electronic industry. The degree information of construction phase while has directly affected all building trades information degree. At present, the management and production levels on traditional construction industry that China has applied are relatively low, urgently needing informatization as the representative of modern technological means to change the situation. Thereby, building information model(BIM) develops rapidly in the construction industry.BIM can integrate information containing all stages of the project life cycle into data.Meanwhile, it has a large advantage in model creation and components processing of complex shapes. The paper studied the BIM technology in complex construction projects by combining the civil engineering projects of a ecological economy exhibition hall with market two secondary bathroom market project(water,heating,electricity) in Wuhan. The main contents were as follows:(1) Through organizing the literature related BIM, present situation was summarized.The conception, technical characteristics and application value of BIM were simply introduced.(2) The complex project was described, and generalized conclusions form the construction status and problems. It highlighted the advantages of BIM technology in complex construction projects.(3) Using different BIM software to modeling for the construction projects in the Lake ecological economic exhibition hall. It achieved the perfect model on the appearance of complex buildings.The advantage in merging was reflected by the combination of the project system established in secondary bathroom market.(4) Using the model of completed civil model in the ecological economic pavilion for virtual construction of complex components and erection simulation in4 D, it successfully solved different problems. The problems contained difficult to install the complex component node,diversity assembly sequence, lifting scheme comparison and technical problems caused by tight deadline. It provided a strong theoretical basis for actual construction, implementing the target of security, quality,economic and efficiency.(5) According to the model integration and collision check function of BIM software(Navisworks software), all built models which belonged to secondary bathroom market projects integrated together. It is not only can see any member to select, but also check for collision of each professional system(hard and soft collision).Thus, it guaranteed the construction going well to find the problems in advance, improve the efficiency of coordination, short the construction period, reduce rework and improve the quality of the construction.
