| The strengthen layer can be used in the structural system, which can enhance the overall stiffness of the structure. But sometimes it can change the force transmission route of structure, which can produce weak layers and reduce the seismic performance of the structure. The viscous damper is used to replaced the general brace in this paper to produce the energy damping layer. This paper can provide some design ideas for structure design works by analyzing the seismic performance of strengthen layer and energy damping layer.In this paper, the author established three different models of the frame core tube structure:framework-the core tube model, frame with reinforcement layer-the core tube model and the frame with viscous dampers- the core tube model. The periodã€period ratioã€drift angleã€story shear force and column axial force are compared by spectrum and time history analysis with ETABS to get the different between the strengthen layer and energy damping layer.Finally, the author found the seismic performance of structure with energy damping layer is better than the structure with the strengthen layer. It can not cause the whole structure stiffness mutation, and can guarantee the transmitting force way of structure in vertical direction fluctuation, and also can improve the seismic performance of the structure. |
