Research On Braking Hardware-in-the-loop Test System Of Vehicle

Hardware-In-the-Loop test system is an important means of vehicle braking performance research. The difficult of the environment simulation on real driving test and in the pure simulation condition nonlinear factors which are difficult to be simulated for brake parts is connected to the simulation environment through the computer. It can protect the safety of person, shorten development cycles, reduce development costs by using of braking Hardware-In-the-Loop test system of vehicles on braking performance research.The program of braking Hardware-In-the-Loop test system of vehicle was proposed, by development tools like Matlab/x PC Target and Matlab/Simulink based on the achievement of Hardware-In-the-Loop test system and vehicle braking performance. Vehicle braking performance could be simulated by real-time, and the vehicle braking process could be displayed visually by braking Hardware-In-the-Loop test system of vehicle. It provided an efficient way of vehicle braking performance evaluated. The main contents include:(1)The overall layout and specific programs of test system was proposed, based on the achievement of Hardware-In-the-Loop test system. The real-time platform of braking Hardware-In-the-Loop test system of vehicle is established based on Matlab/x PC Target, and the air brake system hardware was established according to the traditional air brake systems.(2)The vehicle model of brakeing Hardware-In-the-Loop simulation test system was proposed, based on the achievement of vehicle dynamics system. And the data acquisition driver on x PC Target environment was compliled and modeled.(3)Do the test of braking Hardware-In-the-Loop test system of vehicle, according to GB7258-2012. Test project include: the breaking performance on straight-line, the breaking performance on turning, the breaking performance when both sides of the tire driving on different road. The influence factors impact of the braking performance were analyzed such as road conditions, initial velocity, lateral force, ect.
