Application Of On-line Monitoring Technology In Intelligent Substation

During the Twelfth Five-year Plan period, intelligent substation of State Grid Corporation has begun to construct extensively, and On-line monitoring and fault diagnosis of electrical device is an important part of the intelligent substation construction. On-line monitoring system can real-time acquisition the running state of electrical device and did not affect the normal operation of it. Combined with expert diagnosis, On-line monitoring system can make a early warning and found the incipient fault of the device promptly.This paper illustrated the important of the status maintenance in electrical device operation and maintenance, by introducing the principles and the present situation of on-line monitoring technique, combined with the features of intelligent substation, a new on-line monitoring system suitable for intelligent substation was proposed, this system is proved feasible and effective in intelligent substation by two examples. The construction of On-line monitoring system in intelligent substation will greatly improve the intelligent degree of the electrical device operation and management, strengthen the application of status maintenance and assistant Decision-making, and has a positive and far-reaching significance to the construction of smart grid.
