With the development of the power system,power grid is constantly expanding and power structure has become more tightly.Opening electromagnetic loop network for the partition operation of the grid has become an inevitable trend.Power grid is a comprehensive problem.Generally,before determining the final partitioning scheme,a few preliminary partitioning scheme according to the experience are proposed.Then we filter to get the ideal partitioning scheme under a series of analysis and evaluation.In this paper, the factors that reflect theadvantages and disadvantagesof the power grid partitioning scheme are considered.The comprehensive evaluation model of power grid partitioning schemebased on the improved principal component analysis are presented:Firstly the principal component analysis and the principle of analytic hierarchy process are analyzed. We find that the advantages and disadvantages of these two kinds of evaluation methods are highly complementary.So we choose the appropriate method to integrate them together and put forward the improved principal component analysis which is suitable for evaluation of power grid partition.This methodhas the most distinguishing feature of combining Subjective and objective effects And then we studied the theory of grid partition,includingPartition time, partitionbreaking point,, partition mode, etc,and proposethe basic principles of grid partition with further summarizes;Based on the principle of partition,the comprehensive evaluation index system which is adapted tothe improved principal component analysis method is presented.The evaluation system that contains the system short circuit current, normal mode transmission capacity, failure mode of power supply reliability and voltage static stability levelis hierarchicalstructure.In addition network loss, voltage level, the system partition for each otherare also considered for verification.This method takes the influence of different the power plantboot modeon the evaluation resultsinto account..The evaluation method and its evaluation index system make up the comprehensive evaluation model of power grid partitioning scheme based on principal component analysis.At last, Several kinds of power supply scheme of a southern power grid are tested with the application of this evaluation model.
