The excellent comprehensive performance of SUV is not only the embodiment its comprehensive quality,even it is the core improving product competitiveness.In order to promote the continuous improvement of product technology,promote the comprehensive performance of SUV,Automobile-maker have introduced some advanced technology into Sport Utility Vehicle in an attempt to bost its comprehensive performance to win consumers' preference.For example,engine miniaturization,turbocharging and in-cylinder direct injection are used in power and fuel economy,Autonomous Anti-lock Braking System and Emergency Braking system are introduced in braking,the traction stability control system,body stability system and other techniques are used in the control stability.In addition,comprehensive performance is restricted by the running condition,and its performance are different under different driving modes.Therefore,comprehensive performance needs to be evaluated,the evaluation index of comprehensive performance has the characteristics of mufti-level and complex,it led to the greater difficulties when we evaluate automobile comprehensive performance.Based on the above requirements and considering the difficulty of comprehensive performance evaluation,the three special environments of high temperature,high cold and humidity are used as the test conditions of vehicle performance,besides,in this paper,,taking into account the all extreme driving conditions of consumers' daily vehicles,and synthetically inspected overall performance of vehicle under extreme driving conditions.Taking five best-selling Sport Utility Vehicle as evaluation objects and designed the vehicle performance test plan on power,fuel economy,comfort,handling stability and braking.By collecting the objective performance data of the test process and processing analysis,at the same time,the performance evaluation system at all levels was established,every performance evaluation indexes were selected and analyzed theoretically and feasibly,The evaluation system of suitable for its was builtAll kinds of evaluation indexes and comprehensive performance evaluation of Sport Utility Vehicle's comprehensive performance are evaluated by combination the principal component analysis with the TOPSIS method,by combining the advantages of the two evaluation methods,the correlation between evaluation indexes is eliminated and the original information provided by objective performance data is retained to the greatest extent.Through case analysis,in final,the scores,ranking and performance levels of performance and comprehensive performance are obtained.It provides more scientific reference basis for the vehicle in the process of the development of comprehensive performance and matching,and consumers buying cars and using cars.The results show that the combination of two kinds of evaluation methods to better solve the multiple index evaluation of complicated problems in the evaluation objects,in scientific research and practical engineering has a certain research significance and reference value.
