With the development of the national energy conservation and demand side management, energy efficient has been aroused the unprecedented attention of energy conservation. It is important to improve the level of energy usage, timely monitor energy efficiency data and analysis the effect of energy using for the power industry. Power energy-saving monitoring and energy efficiency assessment require to timely receive the user’s electric data.The management also need to send the data of electricity and environment to users,this is used to guide the user’s energy usage.Therefore, it is the key to design the information-exchanging interface at the consumer side, and it is also an essential part of the energy efficiency monitoring and evaluation system.First, according to the existed information technology and related interfaces standards, this study analysis the structure and function of energy efficiency testing and evaluation system. Confirming the information-exchanging needs of energy efficiency system in the parts of user management, electricity monitoring equipment, energy analysis and energy management. Referring to the model of ISO/IEC, information-exchanged interfaces of energy efficiency system are separated to four parts. Second, detailed designation of the switching interface is given in the functional layer, information layer and communication layer. According to the intelligence of energy management, interfaces are separated in different levels. Then analysis the exchange interfaces in terms of loading equipment level, device controller level, user power management system level and user energy decision system level. Generic exchange interface function and interface data model are inducted. In terms of packet encapsulation format and transportation rules, we design interface communication layer protocol and introduce related communication services. At last,on the basis of the exchange interface, we design the energy efficiency monitoring system combining with the users’ actual electricity consumption. So it comes to be true to demonstrate the feasibility and practicality of switching interfaces. Then we summary the achievements and make prospects of this study, point out the future work direction in the field of the information exchanging interface of the energy-efficient system for power users.
