Modified rubber asphalt has excellent performance and can change waste into treasure in the production process. It can not only improve the technical performance of asphalt and pavement performance of the road, reduce themaintenancecostsof asphalt roads, but also make the mostofthe limited resourcesandreduce environmental pollution. Rubber asphalt technology has been widely used in mainland provinces of China with relatively maturetechniques.Because of complex climate and vast territories of Xinjiang province, the research oftechnology performanceof rubber asphalt which is suitable for the climate and environment of Xinjiang provinceis still in the blank.Theresearch of modified rubber asphalt’s road performance in Xinjiang is presented in this paper.Firstly, the materials, mechanism and characteristics of rubber modified asphalt were analyzed.Secondly, the high temperatureperformance, low temperature performance, anti-aging performance of modified rubber asphalt wereanalyzed throughlaboratory tests. Then, asphalt climate partition in Xinjiang is analyzed. Referring to rubber asphalt technical indicators at home and abroad, the regression forecast model is built based on the relations of the performances of modified rubber asphalt and the mixture. Based on the climatic conditions in Xinjiang, the rubber asphalt technical indicators which is suitable for climate and environment in Xinjiang is laid down. Finally, according to the demonstration project,a reasonable production processwasdeveloped, and the quality controland index test of modified rubber asphalt’s field production were also made so that rationality of its production process and technical indicators can beverified.
