"Green, energy saving, environmental protection" has become the theme of the 21 st century, along with the widespread attention to the problem of environment, new environmental protection wall materials have become the trend of construction industry. This paper will research a new filling wall material-cotton straw brake.It can not only make full use of crop waste-cotton straw,then reduc e the capital of building house,but also make the house with better heat preservation and sound insulation.First,explore the basic mechanical properties of cotton straw by the ways of experimental study and theoretical analys is. Second, research on the collaborative force performance of frame filled with cotton straw brick.. At the same time by using ABAQUS software to simulate the concrete frame with filling wall and the concrete frame with no filling wall,then compared the simulate results with the experimental results to research the influence of cotton straw brake filler wall to the frame structure under low reversed cyclic loads.The following several work is completed in this paper:(1)To study the influence of density and compression ways to the mechanical properties of cotton straw brick, which was tested by using microcomputer control electronic-universal testing machine.According to the straw brick vertical stress and displacement relationship curves and the development law of the stress and strain,we can study the bearing capacity and ultimate the compression strength and elastic modulus.(2)Through to do horizontal low cyclic loads of seismic performance test about two walls(one frame structure with cotton straw br ick and one without filler material concrete frame), we can study the impact of cotton straw br ick filler wall to the bearing capacity, stiffness, ductility, energy dissipation and seismic performance.The experimental results show that the cotton straw brick filler wall enhances the duc tility and energy dissipation of the frame structure.(3)Using ABAQUS software to simulate the different walls,then compared the simulate results with the experimental results,then prove the validity of the model and research the influence of cotton straw brake filler wall to the concrete frame under low reversed cyclic loads.(4)According to the method of construction fire test part 8: non bearing the special requirements of vertical separation of components(GB/T9978.8-2008) to study the fire integrity and fire insulation of the wall. The test results show that the non-load-bearing wall with small size high density cotton grass brick has a good fire resistant performance,and the duration of fire resistance is more than 70 min.
