| Nowadays, both developed countries and developing countries are actively explore and develop the country’s energy strategy, for optimizing the rational allocation of resources, balancing the development relationship of energy, economic and environment. Along with the increasing of people’s living standard, the use of electric energy presents exponential growth trend. At the same time, under the background of imbalanced national economy structure, the energy-intensive industries widens the gap of power load peak and valley. These phenomena together caused the emergence of the problem of shortage of electricity supply in some areas in China. In order to be able to effectively solve the contradiction between power supply and demand, the power supply side should gradually increase the supply of electricity. In addition, power demand side should also take necessary measures. Power demand side management, as a kind of power management technology for power demand side aspects and energy-saving operating mechanism, gradually becomes the key topic for the whole society.In view of the present, our country electric power as a whole is still in the shortage status. Grid companies implementing power demand side management is a kind of effective measures to mitigate the situation. In this paper, the current situation of power demand side and the management theory at home and abroad research progress are introduced, and on this basis for the power grid power supply structure, power structure, regional economic development situation, and the power load of Liaoning province is analyzed and studied. Through establishing the power load forecasting model based on BP neural network, the electricity consumption per month in Liaoning province is predicted reasonably. Finally, combining with the actual condition of liaoning provincial power grid, the corresponding power demand side management constraint set and incentives are put forward. |
