| The rapid development of Chinese economy emerged in the 1990s, which also has accelerated the urbanization. Urban traffic problems and environmental issues have became more apparent since then. In the past, people focused on traffic problems and road safety issues. With the improvement of people’s life quality, road greening, which is attached to urban greening project, begins to draw attention from the public. In the past few decades, the road greening design mainly occurred in urban areas. With the growing gap between urban and rural areas, urban greening design theory will not be able to directly apply to urban landscape quality reconstruction.Zhijiang has a slow development. The roads in Zhijiang are characterized by its irregular road designing, small-scale streets, low-volume road greening, and single-feature form. How to improve the Huaihua Zhijiang county road greening quality, and how to implement cultural element, thus bring citizens more comfort, is the main theme for this essay.Taking the road status quo Zhijiang County, this article is based on the reviewing of literature survey, field research method, and practice analysis. It has analyzed and summarized the influence of different elements of the road greening quality reconstruction, thus summed up the main points and direction for road greening reconstruction. The results are as followed:Through literature review, the essay has summarized the factors that may affect the quality reconstruction of roads and green areas. It has acknowledged the basic theory and method of road greening, aimed to do preparatory work for the fieldwork.Through field investigation in Zhijiang Huaihua, my research comprehended the local climate, customs, history and culture. At the meanwhile it also recorded the problems of road, road standards, building height, the usage of the streets, walkers flow rate, and traffic quantities.With the practical analysis, during the process of Huaihua Zhijiang County road greening quality reconstruction, I continually discuss relevant content with my director, and the designer of this greening project, in order to validate the feasibility of the proven theory.According to the appeal, which summarized the analysis has been used in the entire reconstruction process, the paper has been focused on generalized landscaping designing factors and particular factors in Zhijiang. It has discussed the natural factors, human factors, and the cultural factors on the road greening quality reconstruction. At the same time, it has compared to some good landscaping design cases, combining with literature survey. Therefore, it has concluded the limitations and requirements that are met in the reconstruction of Zhijiang road greening project. It creates a landscape detail to meet the unique characteristics of Zhijiang County road greening, which is based on practice, thus expanding the "people-oriented" design concept, which fits the social trend of development. |
