Preliminary Study On Parametric Planning And Design Of Landscape Architecture

Nonlinear theory have gradually changed our lives, and also changed the designer’s thinking mode. In the field of construction, the parameterization thinking of nonlinear science gradually become the pronoun of avant-garde design method and future development direction. In view of the successful practice of parameterization in the field of construction, this paper introduces the nonlinear theory into landscape architecture to discuss how to break the shackles of the traditional linear science to the planning and design.The article is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the parametric theory research and practice case at home and abroad, taken parameterization teaching in union college in London, the federal university of technology in Zurich for example, expounds the parameterized application in landscape architecture. The second part introduces some nonlinear theory, such as chaos theory, fractal theory and the theory of self-organization evolution theory to landscape architecture, leads to the parameterized design method, and through the contrast analysis, it reveals its advantage and scientificity. The third part introduces the use of parametric method in the whole process of landscape architecture..The fourth part introduced the personal practice study to landscape design as the breakthrough point, discusses the application and development prospect.This article combines the nonlinear theory with information technology, and puts forward a new design method, then updates the traditional design methods in a different perspective.This paper summarizes the lack of research as the basis for future research and look forward to the landscape parametric design in the full life cycle application. The final conclusion is based on the whole, process and relevance of the nonlinear thinking concept as the guide to build the future nonlinear landscape world.
