In recent years, the world economy develop rapidly, shipping transportation plays an important role in the international trade. And main engine works as the heart of the ship, its safety performance directly affects the normal operation of the ship; therefore, the main task and research points of ship managers and researchers are to ensure the main engine works under a safe condition. As one of the main subsidiary system, ship lube oil system usually work under poor environment, making it difficult to avoid lube oil pipe system leakage, fast and accurate detection device that can effectively reduce economic losses and environmental pollution.In this paper, DMD-Wartsila 6RT-flex58T-D is the main engine of Dalian Maritime University training ship "YUPENG", which lube oil system, is taken for the study. Carry out a deep analysis of its structure and principles, according to the hydrodynamics theory, the use of Matlab M-files in its modeling and simulation to demonstrate the pipeline oil pressure value and dynamic change in the work process. After that, based on the simulation of simplified lube oil systems, take advantage of Kalman filter optimal estimation function, and analyze the filtered pressure signal, and thus get the best estimate of the pressure signal sequence, in combination of the measurement sequence, obtain the New Information of pressure signal sequence, can achieve leak inflection effective extraction. Finally, based on the lube oil pipeline leak detection system research, utilize the C# programming language to design the application program.Simulation results show that the Kalman filter model established in this paper, has a better detection capability on lube oil pipeline system leakage, be able to timely discover the leakage and make a diagnosis, and the model we established and parameters of the model we select are reasonable, the simulation results coincide with the actual situation of the ship lube oil pipeline, the simulation results of key parameters error is small. The application program of the ship lube oil pipeline leak detection systems, have various advantages like friendly interface in human-computer interaction, good real-time performance, and can provide some guidance on the other pipeline leak fault diagnosis.
