Pipeline leak is the main threat to the safety of the normal operation of the pipeline, eachyear, the pipeline leakage incident caused huge loses, at the same time the pipeline leakageincident could result in a serious social adverse effect, therefore, not only to solve theproblem of pipeline leak economic losses can not be reduced to maintain social harmony andstability. With infrasound leak detection technology can detect the leakage of the pipeline fastand accurate.The research results can be used on all kinds of heating and other transportationpipeline applications, there is great application value and provides some scientific basis forthe further development of pipeline leak detection.In this paper, infrasound leak detectionmethod is used for heating pipeline leak detection, and expose its detection principle,software and hardware for the preparation and application in detail, the main work is asfollows:1. Improve the Kalman filter algorithm. Analyze the Kalman filter theory, for theproblems of frequency-domain signal filtering effect is not obvious, according to thesub-sonic frequency domain characteristics for filtering algorithm is improved bystrengthening the ability to detect low-frequency signal, highlighting the low-frequencycomponent of the leakage signal for pipeline leak Location foundation.2. Design the hardware of the Pipeline Leak Detection system. Pipeline leakage systeminclude the inspection wells leaks and pipeline leak, currently,there are no inspection wellsdetection’s related equipment on the market,in this paper the hardware of the inspection wellsdetection is designed based on16-bit ultra-low power microcontroller PIC24F16KA102,andcan can detect out for inspection and wells’s leakage situation quickly,the system can workcontinuously for a heating period using battery for power surply.And designed based onSTM32F103, GPRS and GPS’s pipeline leak hardware system, to achieve a pipeline leakagedata acquisition and transmission.3. Design the PC software and hardware software, PC software design section describesthe sub-sonic France vent leak location principle and calculation process, transplant thealgorithm based on practical MATHSCRIPT inline script method of Labview, and design theother features of PC software, including data reception, data storage, data read, the leakagesignal analysis, leak location, historical data query function modules, the software alsoincludes an interface and real-time alarm functions to achieve leakage. Lower computersoftware portion includes two parts,the pipeline leak detection part of the software,inspectionwells partial lower software direct write applications and modules driven, pipeline leak detection portion includes an operating system migration, preparation of the application andperipheral modules driven preparation.4. Test the entire system, including the two parts, the test of the part of inspection wellsincludes leak detection and inspection covers anti-theft function tests, also includes somehardware inspection wells system power consumption test, analyze its power consumptionwhether it can last at least one heating period of time, the last is the communication test,pipeline leak detection portion of the test, including hardware machine signal acquisition andupdate transmission is working well as the PC software is can be a normal for data storage,reading, processing and positioning functions. And this system has been applied in DaqingOilfield Mining Services Division of the heating companies field.
