With the increasing of China’s Harbor cargo throughput,the hoisting machinery is playing a more and more important role in the port cargo transportation. Development is often coexist with problems.With the increasing of the hoisting equipment,the problems of operation and maintenance management in harbor also gradually increasing. Meanwhile, for a long time the plan of harbor crane’s maintenance management mode gradually exposed a lot of problems,such as lack of maintenance,waste of maintenance problems and so on. To some extent,the rapid growth and improving of harbor benefits are restricted as the ideas and mode of maintenance is relative lag. Applied RCM to the hoist gantry crane health management,which can effectively identify the equipment failure,optimize of maintenance decision,ensure the safe running of the equipment and structure,improve equipment utilization,reduce the maintenance cost,increase enterprise economic benefits. The main research work of this paper is as follows:(1) This paper expounds the RCM method in the application of hoist cranes from system equipment and structure.Appropriate improved RCM analysis logical decisionmaking process based on the existing state of hoist crane maintenance.With it,application of RCM technologies would be much closer to the Harbour Crane.(2) RCM is used to analysis the equipment of a 300 t shipbuilding gantry crane as an example.Through the analysis of the important structure projects,serious equipment failure consequences of the shipbuilding gantry crane are identified. And then FMECA for MSI were analyzed to determine the extent of damage the consequences of failure.Logic decision method is used the to determine the critical failure maintenance decision, and the corresponding preventive maintenance cycle.(3) Take a 300 T hoist gantry crane metal structure as an example, combine with Finite element simulation method to determine the structure stress test, strain nodes with wireless technology is also used to structural stress monitoring. Then processing the monitoring data, calculate the fatigue life of the structure of the measuring point area. Finally, the RCM analysis of 300 t gantry crane structure is applied. Based the structural state of the monitoring data, the fatigue damage inspection intervals are determined. Compared with the traditional method of determining the maintenance intervals,the results based on the structure of condition monitoring data structure closer to reality. Therefore, the results are more accurate and reliable results.(4) The last in this paper,the health management system of harbor gantry crane based on RCM analysis is conceived.And the contents of each module are also described.There are some references for RCM technology used in the Harbor gantry crane Health Management of this paper.
