Ultrafine powder technology is a new technology developed gradually andvigorously in the early1970s, which is applied in many fields of industrialtechnology. After ultrafine grinding, materials will show a lot of excellentperformance. Ultrafine powder has finer granularity, and the surface distributeparticles more uniformly, so it has higher surface activity and surface energy,faster chemical reaction speed, larger adsorption capacity and higher solubility,and has excellent physical property performance such as light, electricity,magnetism and cover rate. It can improve and promote the development ofindustrial technology such as the coating materials of paint, the informationrecording medium, the new refractory materials, biological and chemicalmaterials, fine ceramics, microelectronic technology etc. Up to now, there havebeen many methods for manufacturing ultrafine powder. There are mainly twoways in industrial applications for manufacturing ultrafine powder which arechemical synthesis method and mechanical crushing method. Between them,only few were manufactured by the chemical synthesis method and above80%were crushed by the mechanical crushing method.Ultrasonic machining technology is developed very rapidly in recentdecades. It is explored and applicated commomly in many fields such as theultrasonic vibration system (ultrasonic generator, transducer and amplitudetransformer), deep hole machining, grinding and polishing cavity mould, ultrasonic composite processing etc. it has overcomed the core technicaldifficulties of hard brittle materials which is difficult to machine in atraditional tool, and the technology effect is good.The application of ultrasonic vibration into grind field at present is mainlyto disperse the agglomerate solid particles into liquid by using the pressure waveproduced by ultrasonic cavitation, which is used in medicine, food, chemical andbiological aspects. Research of using the ultrasonic frequency vibration of toolhead into material ultrafine grinding is quite few, and this paper focus on theresearch and exploration of the analysis and design of ultrafine grinding systemby ultrasound vibrating.Based on researching the existing grinding theory and combined withbrittle solid fracture mechanics, the mechanism of ultrafine grinding system byultrasound vibrating was proposed. Experiment device of ultrafine grindingsystem by ultrasound vibrating was processed and assembled through the way ofoutsourcing. The experiment plan was designed, and the related experimentswere completed.This paper has designed and analysed ultrafine grinding system byultrasound vibrating. The main works done were as follows:(1) research the mechanism of ultrafine grinding by ultrasound vibratingBased on study of the existing grinding theory and brittle solid fracturemechanics, research the grinding mechanics of material in the process ofultrafine grinding by ultrasound vibrating, the extension process of materialcrack, the energy consumption theory of ultrafine crushing(2)design and manufacture the experiment device of ultrafine crushing byultrasound vibrating, make experiments and test related performance parametersDesign device of ultrafine grinding system by ultrasound vibrating, andfocus on the design and calculation of ultrasonic amplitude transformer, confirminteractionally of the designed amplitude transformer by theoretical analysis method and finite element analysis method, process and manufacture theultrafine grinding acoustic system of ultrasonic vibration system by ultrasoundvibrating, to carry on the, and test the related parameters by impedance analyzer,design and manufacture the related experimental device according to thecharacteristics of ultrafine grinding, complete the building of experimentaldevice of ultrafine grinding system by ultrasound vibrating(3) experimental research of ultrafine grinding by ultrasound vibratingMake experimental plan, do grinding experiments of the specific particlesize distribution of the material particle, analyze the grinding results under theaction of ultrafine grinding system by ultrasound vibrating, improve the theoryof ultrafine grinding by ultrasound vibrating through the crushing results.
