A Research On The Building Facade Selection Based On AHP

With the rapid urbanization in China, the aspect of the city changes quickly with each passing day. Tower cranescan be seen everywhere in the city. But thefacade of those new buildings lack of unified planning. Many of them lead to "strange buildings". How to control the exterior facade of new buildings and the renovation of old buildings and how to create harmonious urban appearance becomes a serious problem demanding prompt solution.Through study and collatingabundant professionalliteratures, combined with the characteristics of the building facade, classification and analysis of all kinds of factors, from the demand for construction, reasonable structure, convenient construction and economic effective four dimensions to consider, the initial construction of the building facadeevaluation framework has been built. Apply of expert consultation and questionnaire survey method, after two rounds of screening, establishing the building facade evaluation index system.In this article, AHP method is used to determine the relative weight of each evaluation index, according to the expert advice to construct the two-two judgment matrix, after that use the Matlab software programming to calculate the relative weight and check the consistency. The relative weights of the 7 experts are calculated respectively, and the final weight of the index is calculated by using the arithmetic mean value. Evaluation index is divided into objective and subjective measures and objective index by using the single index evaluation method, subjective indicators using expert scoring method, set the evaluation index assignment criterion. On the basis of evaluation index system of building comprehensive evaluation model, different facade scheme have been comprised and evaluated. In the meantime, the system also takes into account the 7 experts in the industry background and the actual experience of the different industries of the expert’s score given a different weight.The facade evaluation of Huanglong International Center second phase, which located atroad intersection of Wensan and College Road, as a case study, three different facadesare analyzed and evaluated through the facade evaluation index system. It tests the practicability and validity of the evaluation index system based on AHP method.
