With the continuous development of the semiconductor technology and packaging technology, LED lighting,by virtue of the energy-saving, environmental protection, long life and other advantages, will gradually replace the traditional lighting technologies such as incandescent lamp. Because of energy-saving and similar structure with incandescent lamp, LED filament lamps have become pretty popular.In this paper,the new structure of Omni-LED light devices, with LED chips bonded directly on phosphor layer, are prepared and studied. The optoelectric properties and aging properties are also studied. The results show that when the thickness of phosphor layer is 0.04 mm, the optoelectric properties of LED filament will reach optimum value; the performance of LED filament with sapphire as the substrate materials is better than that of other materials. When the phosphor layer is incorporated with 30%wt Al2O3 powder, the luminous flux of the LED filament is the highest. During the 500 h aging, the luminous flux of the new structure LED devices is slightly lower at the beginning. But with the increase of aging time, this new type of LED filament is better than other traditional structures on the lumens reduction. Result shows that the new type of LED filament is better than traditional on the heat dissipation.
