The further development of power grid and update the smart grid is the goal, the main problem is to solve the problem of grid information model and visualization of important, making the grid more safe and reliable. Because the transmission of IOT space exists certain relevance and mixed, so we want to study the overall design of the Internet of things, the system maintenance and coordinate all aspects of work and other technical depth. Only in this way can we make the Internet of things technology design into a stable technology development platform, in order to better service for smart grid. Now national grid has been gradually expanding the scope of use of Internet of things platform, in the architecture of power transmission and transformation equipment and in the construction of power transmission and transformation equipment problems on the model has made extensive use of the Internet of things this technology. The establishment of this paper mainly construction, system structure of the panorama information model were analyzed and explained, and then combined with the development of Shanxi power grid on the Internet of things applications in smart power grid is analyzed as an example.Research on the power transmission and transformation equipment based on Internet of things is to start from the analysis of power flow direction information in a small area. The whole complex grid system is divided into several relative simple levels. This paper mainly divided into four levels.:the perception layer of information sensing, communication layer classification on the data transmission, the integration layer finishing from information communication once, and all the information of the intelligent application layer use overall plans. Put forward the networking contact and respective characteristics between running architecture model of four layers in this system, we use the intelligent detection device selection, encoding the information and communication in the process of information, the rule of the logo, the key technology of the overall design of the grasp of the hole information are studied.In order to make the power grid development in the process of information to a wide range of communication, not confined to a small independent range, we put IOT applications to the power transmission and transformation equipment. And according to the use of the equipment cycle for a panoramic view of the scene information, establish the correlation model. In view of the Internet of things of automatic monitoring and control part of the design process to the designer, using the technology of wireless sensor network in the overall design of the substation of. The application of the technology is mainly conducted through the modeling analysis of the detection process the corresponding data flow, greatly improved delayed repair problems of substation of power transmission and transformation equipment fault occurs. The establishment of on-line monitoring model mainly through the establishment of the network topology, and then to monitor each node, on throughput, information of nodes and load were simulated.Combined with the design of overall structure of IOT system of substation and power transmission and transformation equipment on site the panorama information modeling and information of Shanxi province are introduced. It describes the nature and needs of the application process online monitoring system of intelligent substation, how to transmit them after the acquisition of the corresponding information. The establishment of the algorithm model suitable for how to deploy network are introduced.
