With rising demand for building function, building structure are evolved from simple forms to complex structural forms.At present, a large number of high-rise structures are designed more and more complex. One type of complex high-rise building structure is large podium structure which is used more widely. The current development of classic high-rise building structures are told. Commentary by structural arrangement and connection of the senior class which the structure are existed the main problems in the class structure purpose and significance of research presented in this paper.In this paper, the object is large podium in Guangzhou Panyu District, Valley Gardens is not high twins tall structure, which is mainly a combination structure of large podium, twin towers, conversion layer and connecting part,which have impacted seismic performance There are several factors of tower conversion layer, and the structure set connecting part in order to guarantee the reliability of the structure, main problems are shear、floor shift、floor displacement angle and many others,the main of the contents of this paper are follows.Firstly, select the response spectrum analysis method, the main analysis connecting is rigid, hinged and one rigid one hinged, selected a 36-vibration mode cycle, Then the structure of the natural cycle, between analysis floor displacement,drift angle and shear,. The results showed that low-level modal mass participation factors vary widely,but the quality of participation in higher modes is smaller coefficient, rigid connection floor and the floor displacement angle X displacement is smaller than the other two connections, the structure of Y little effect floor displacement and angular displacement of the floor. Shear connections under three little impact on the floor structure.Secondly,seismic performance of the twin towers and large podium with and without connected. comparing changes of the vibration mode cycle, set connecting part affected displacement between floors, floor layers and shear displacement angle.The results showed that the set-piece structure, each vibration mode cycles are reduced, reducing the displacement relative to the floor when without connecting part,and floor shear structure increases.Finally,Due to the high-rise building structure of this paper,witch is a complex formof high-rise structures, so need for elastic-plastic analysis of the structure which performance-based Pushover analysis,the result showed that the elastic-plastic maximum story drift meet performance goals without serious damage to the displacement angle. Structure under the action of the three seismic waves, the overall structure is not completely collapsed, and draw the structure of the corresponding weak parts and other related information, that provide a reference for the class structural engineering applications.In summary, though analysis the influence of connections, the seismic response with connecting part structures and static or dynamic elastic-plastic on structural,a large seismic performance study of the overall structure,provide a reference for engineering applications in the future for large podium with double-tower structures.
