The Study On Urban Design Of Peripheral Areas Of First Rail Transit Stations In Kunming Under TOD

TOD(Transit Oriented Development) is an important planning concept to guide the construction and development of modern cities. The study based on the TOD concept,as the construction situation of Hong Kong city rail transit site surrounding areas a empirical comparison, to analysis and study the city construction of Kunming First Rail transit site surrounding areas. To further explore the urban design methods and principles, that is adapting the Kunming rail site surrounding areas.The study focus on the three aspects:to evaluating and suggesting the way of different transit patterns linking up in the Kunming First Rail Transit Planning; to researching the developing capacity of Kunming First Rail site surrounding areas and its rationality; to explore the urban design methods and principles, that is adapting the Kunming rail site surrounding areas.Through analysing the data and concluding the actual cases, finally, I summed up some urban design guidelines, which contain three aspects:traffic integration, developing capacity and city space, and the TOD model adapted to the Kunming rail site surrounding areas.
