In the applications of the power transformation, converter driver, switching mode power supply, in order to achieve the effective control of the power electronic devices, the perfect control circuit design is needed in the drive control system. In this paper, according to the typical applications of the converter, in view of the signal sampling number and pulse numbers and different control strategies, puts the demands of general control platform for electric power conversion in the aspect of hardware, software requirements, and puts forward a kind of general control platform for electric power conversion based on structure of "DSP+FPGA".Through the two aspects of main control unit and peripheral unit hardware design, introduced he overall design train of thought for the platform. Main control unit used "DSP+FPGA", modularization and bus structure approach, combined the advantages of logic functions of FPGA and operation ability of DSP. In order to fully improve the compatibility of main control system input and output signals, optimized the design of peripheral circuit unit.The software underlying code development of this control platform mainly including the code design of DSP and the code design of FPGA; Used the modular design method to meet each control function, and compatible with the hardware circuit as far as possible, to meet different types of converter control. The underlying code of DSP design mainly includes the inner and external AD sample, coordinate transformation, SVPWM, PI controller, serial communication, etc. Underlying code of FPGA design mainly includes the interface design, fault signal processing, PWM pulse signal generation, etc. And the simulation of the code proved the reliability and feasibility of the software and hardware control platform.Finally, in order to verify the control platform development, built the 5MW direct-drive permanent magnet wind turbine generator model, and used the decoupling control method of the dq synchronous rotating coordinate generator model, the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the control strategy; And through the grid converter control experiment, verified the accuracy of the proposed control strategy and the rationality of the hardware and software design of control platform.
