Because of series of advantages such as relatively low cost, high utilization of wind energy, good stability and precise control, direct-drive wind power system has become one of the main wind turbine types. In the past few decades, the system of direct-drive wind power has developed rapid, and has become a hot topic on new energy research in each country.Direct-drive wind power converter and control system is the core of the wind power generation system. This dissertation is a part of the project of "megawatt direct drive wind turbine inverter design", which is the Science and Technology Support Project of Science and Technology Department in Sichuan Province. And the whole direct-drive wind power generation system was analyzed and a rated power of3kW direct-drive wind power experiment platform was designed.Firstly, this paper described the current foreign and domestic situation and development trend of wind power system, and did a brief comparative analysis of conventional wind power generation systems, and also did a detailed analysis of the structure of direct-drive wind power system converter and related theories. And furthermore, this paper focused on the analysis of multiple parallel multi-channel technology of the converter system for the high-power direct-drive wind power system, analyzed and verified its features and benefits. These laid a theoretical foundation for the design of the entire direct-drive wind power experiment platform.Secondly, in the process of designing the hardware of the direct-drive wind power system test platform, the paper mainly focused on the inverter hardware design, including the simulation of wind turbine, the test voltage and current sensing circuit, buck-boost circuit, the control circuit board based on TMS320F2812DSP and two-level inverter circuit. In the software design, the voltage oriented control for the inverter was analyzed. And in CCS4.2environment, the SVPWM controller, the PWM and PI control of IGBT, software debugging etc. were completed in the design.Finally, through the overall debugging and testing of the direct-drive wind turbine test platform, the analysis results of measurement proved the rationality of the system design.
