The project "1MW Wind-power Generation Converter Experiment Platform" is supported by 211 plan of our university. It can implement 1 MW rated experiment of two feeding inverter and 600kW rated rectifier-inverter combined experiment. As an important part of the whole project, this work aims to design and implement the monitoring and control system, realizing the supervising and protect of the plant.According to the requirement of the plant monitoring and control system, the detailed technical scheme is designed, in which the monitoring and control system is divided into data collecting & analyze subsystem and PLC control subsystem. First, the hardware circuit is designed and equipments are chosen. Then, based on multithreading technique of VC++6.0, the data collecting software is developed. It can realize data collecting, recording, and analyze of twenty-three key signals, as well as the function of power measurement, THD calculating, and waveforms display/memorize/recall. Second, the PLC control subsystem is developed based on PLC S7-200. It's used to finish the control of the plant and display of plant states. In this part, the main task includes the configuration of the PLC, arranging the wire, and developing the software of PLC.The monitoring and control system has the feature of abundant supervising information, friendly interface and convenient operation. It works well in the practical experiments, can completely meet the design requirements, the hardware and software both have high reliability.
