Prediction is the basis of correct and decision-making. The correct forecast of electricity sales and network supply load level is very important for a electric power company to plan and operate the power system.A certain region is selected in this paper for an example. The characteristics of the electricity market in this region is analyzed, and the relationships between the equipment operating capacity and electricity sales of seven categories of the sale of electricity and major industrial users are studied. The electricity power growth curves of different categories of the sale of electricity and the main industries are researched based on the characteristics of micro power-users, through which the relationship between the power consumption and the true stock equipment capacity is corrected. The utilization characteristics extractions of the different categories of stock sale of electricity capacity, as well as the cluster of characteristics of business expanding growth are produced. At the same time, the different forecasting models are established on the basis of the consumption characteristics of stock equipment capacity. Then, an electricity sales forecast method is proposed based on characteristics of the stock capacity and business expanding. In the end, the regional network load forecast is carried out by using the annual maximum load utilization hours. The research results of this paper can play a good forecast effect in the practical application. The research results will further deepen the application, and play an important role for improving the electric power company on the overall market analysis and forecasting capabilities.
