In recent years, China’s high-speed railway technology has been developed rapidly. China has become the longest operation mileage and the highest speed of high-speed railway in short time. Monitoring relevant subsystem reliability of high-speed train which ensures the safe operation in long-terms has become an essential issue of manufacture industries. Equipment cabin under EMU is an important part of the high-speed train which contains transformers, traction converters, auxiliary converters, double auxiliary converters, etc.. It will generate a lot of heat during of the long-running. At the same time with the train speed increasing, inside design of equipment cabin is realized modularization and concentration. On the condition of limited ventilation, whether the temperature of equipment cabin after long time running is high, and whether it has potential damage for electronic devices has become one of the essential issues for the reliability of high-speed trains. Therefore this paper carried out research on equipment cabin temperature field with the help of experimental data and research methods which have important values for manufacturing companies to improve vehicle design and product reliability.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Computational fluid dynamics, numerical values of heat transfer theory are expounded;(2) Temperature field of computer case is experimentally tested using infrared detection gun; 3D model is built for computer case, temperature field analysis was carried out based on the FLUENT software. Meanwhile make an comparison between the analysis results and experimental results. Then obtained the modeling experience and proper process of the temperature field simulation based on software CFD;(3) Monitored the major fever components of EMU equipment cabin based on FBG sensors for a long-line; 3D model is built for the tested equipment. Referencing the CFD modeling experience and process, the numerical simulation of equipment cabin is carried out using FLUENT software. Meanwhile, make an comparison between the analysis results and numerical simulation results.Research shows that temperature data simulation results and experimental results of the test equipment cabin equipment are in good agreement.
